Is Spore Redirects a hosted service?

No. Spore Redirects is a PHP/Mysql application you set up and run on your own server. This means that you pay only a one-time fee, instead of monthly fees (typical of hosted software). For more information on supported server technologies please see the system requirements.

Can I install Spore Redirects on more than one website?

Yes. You are allowed to run Spore Redirects on any website you own. You are not allowed to distribute this software with anyone else.

What are the browser/server requirements to run Spore Redirects?

Please view the system requirements for more information on compatible servers and browsers.

Are there any plans to support servers other than Apache, such as Windows IIS?

No. Spore Redirects interacts directly with and relies on Apache's .htaccess file. Because of this, a port to another server would not be possible.

Does Spore Redirects require a database?

Yes. A MySQL database is required in order to both handle authentication and maintain integrity of the redirects (especially if they are managed by more than one person).

If Spore Redirects doesn't work on my server, can I get a refund?

All buyers are strongly encouraged to view the system requirements before purchasing Spore Redirects. Refunds will not be given for incompatibilities that are covered in the system requirements.
